FORUM ON PUBLIC TRANSPORT IN BLYTH

The Isabella Centre has been contacted by Jonathon Barlow who is eager for your help in conducting research into public transport within the Blyth district. He will be holding three focus group meetings during July. His letter below explains more:
I am a final year student at Newcastle University undertaking a Masters degree in Transportation Planning and Policy.  As part of my studies I am investigating attitudes towards the current provision of public transport in Blyth and also the possible reopening of the Ashington, Blyth and Tyne rail line for passengers.

To do this I am using a short, anonymous questionnaire the link to which is located at the bottom of the page.

I also wish to conduct several focus groups at the Isabella Community Centre on the following dates to talk about public transport more broadly and to see if opinions vary depending on place of residence within the town.

·         Saturday 23rd July 11-12.00 pm
·         Wednesday 27th July 1.30-2.30 pm
·         Friday 29th July 5.30-6.30 pm

Refreshments will be provided.

If you can attend please feel free to turn up on the day, however if you wish to ask me anything beforehand I am available at the following address j.barlow@newcastle.ac.uk

Yours sincerely,
Jonathan Barlow
