GARDEN SPRINGING INTO LIFE

Spring is here again and time to dig out our trowels here at the Isabella Community Centre.

Last year we planted lots of bulbs and wildflowers in the wild meadow section and they are beginning to come to life. This should add a lot of colour to the garden.

With the help of some volunteers from the Age Concern Day Care Centre we have also got our vegetable plot underway. Onions, cauliflower, cabbage and onions, amongst others, should give us all a healthy diet come late summer.
